When looking to acquire a new or pre-owned aircraft, OCR Aviation empowers buyers to make informed decisions through our attention to detail. We have decades of experience navigating the transaction process, resulting in the successful purchase of hundreds of aircraft. There are those that will tell you that anyone who provides sales brokerage services can’t represent buyers. We, however, believe that by working different sides of the sales process at different times, we have a very good understanding of the needs of all parties, and we gain valuable exposure to market information. The first step in the acquisition process involves digging into the client’s needs and mission requirements. From there, we narrow down the aircraft into a target segment, and then aggressively pursue both on and off market opportunities. It is our job to review logs, speak to current owners and maintenance shops to truly asses the target aircraft prior to bringing them back to the clients for review. Once an aircraft is selected, we manage the contract and escrow phase from the beginning through the closing. Either prior to closing or after closing, we will work with the client to provide in aircraft flight training from our stable of CFI’s or we will coordinate any outside simulator or other training needs. If the client has upgrades or maintenance they want done prior to taking the aircraft, we can recommend and manage that process as well.
